The Solutions Architect II will design, develop, and implement software solutions in Las Vegas, ensuring they align with business requirements. Responsibilities include translating requirements into solutions, analyzing project constraints, ensuring solutions fit the enterprise environment, and selecting technology stacks. The role requires experience in banking and Acquirer Payments, with a focus on creating multi-tiered applications and user interfaces. This role offers flexibility to work remotely. This individual must exercise discretion and independent judgment.
Must have:
- 5-8 years of software architecture experience.
- Advanced knowledge of software development practices.
- Experience designing and implementing multi-tiered applications.
- Proficiency in writing unit tests and mocking dependencies.
- Experience developing complex solutions in the industry.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with product and industry standards.
- Experience in banking and Acquirer Payments.
- Knowledge of ISO8583 message format.
Good to have:
- POS Retail or Merchant Acquirer experience.

Description
We are seeking an Architect Solutions II in Las Vegas with experience in banking and Acquirer Payments. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions to meet business requirements, initiatives, and objectives, exercising discretion and independent judgment.
- Compile technical and business requirements, translating them into functional solutions.
- Analyze project constraints to identify alternatives, mitigate risks, and conduct process re-engineering as necessary.
- Ensure solutions fit into the current enterprise environment.
- Select the technology stack and perform resource evaluations.
Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise for the job:
- 5-8 years of software architecture experience.
- Advanced knowledge of software development practices and methodologies.
- Experience designing and implementing multi-tiered applications and user interfaces.
- Proficiency in writing unit tests and mocking dependencies.
- Experience developing complex solutions within the industry.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with product and industry standards.
- Experience in banking and Acquirer Payments.
- Knowledge of ISO8583 message format and proficiency in using Visio for drawings.

The compensation for this role considers a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location at which the position may ultimately be filled. At Everi, it is not typical for all individuals to be hired at or near the end of the range; compensation decisions depend on each case’s facts and circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $94,800 - $ 112,100 annually.
