TransPerfect Gaming is looking for freelance ENGLISH to ROMANIAN gaming translators and proofreaders to collaborate on exciting localization projects. You'll work on everything from indie games to AAA titles, ensuring the best gaming experience for ROMANIAN players.

🔹 What We’re Looking For:

• Native-level proficiency in ROMANIAN
• Strong command of ENGLISH
• Deep passion for gaming and familiarity with gaming terminology
• Minimum 2 years of experience in gaming localization (ENGLISH>ROMANIAN)
• Expertise in Adventure, Strategy, and Fantasy games
• Skilled in CAT tools (preferably in memoQ)
• Detail-oriented with excellent grammar, spelling, and terminology skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced, creative environment

Job requirements

🔹 Minimum Requirements (Must meet ONE of the following):

• A Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies (or equivalent with significant translation training)
• 2+ years of translation experience + a college degree
• 5+ years of translation experience (no degree required)
• A translation certification issued by an appropriate government body
