The candidate will also deliver reports and insights as required. The role involves working closely with studios, publishing teams, and partners in China and SEA, ensuring effective communication and execution of initiatives to enhance the player experience.
Must have:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience with 2 years in project management, preferably in gaming.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills; fluent in English and Mandarin.
  • Proactive work style with attention to detail.
Good to have:
  • Experience in the mobile game industry.
  • Passionate gamer with knowledge of the shooter market.
  • Call of Duty IP familiarity.
  • PMP or Scrum Master certification.

Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Game Project Manager for Call of Duty mobile to join Activision Shanghai office.

The successful candidate will be passionate about mobile games, innovative and motivated, they should enjoy working in a fun environment to bring epic experiences to our players.

The Game Project Manager will work alongside with the Activision Call of Duty mobile team members, to deliver Activision value proposition to our customers, as well as interface with our operating partner, Activision internal stakeholders and development team in headquarter(HQ), to communicate China needs and initiatives.

The ideal candidate should have strong brand management, project management skills, analytical thinking, communication and influencing skills. The position will report to Senior Project Manager, COD Mobile, and required to work closely with Activision studio, HQ publishing team and our publishing partner in China & SEA.

Responsibilities         

  • Support and collaborate with our partners Tencent and Garena on overall publishing planning, execution as well as franchise brand building in respective regions .
  • Serve as liaison between China and HQ publishing teams, follow-up execution on local initiatives across live operations, in game features, marketing campaigns and esports etc.
  • Consolidate and structuralize partner requirements under the Activision framework for communication efficiency. Provide transparency and timely communication for expectation, deliverables, and targets.
  • Take ownership of the review and communication processes, including their design, execution, and ongoing optimization, aiming to improve team collaboration in efficiency and output quality.
  • Monitor ongoing game performance, service quality & stability, community sentiments, etc. Deliver reports and insights as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ working experience with at least 2 years of project management background in game industry. Experience in mobile game industry is a plus.
  • Strong communication, presentation and analytic skills. Fluency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin is a must.
  • Proactive working style and attention to detail.
  • Passionate gamer with strong knowledge of the shooter market is preferred. Call of Duty IP familiarity strongly preferred
  • PMP or Scrum Master certification is a plus.
