Intro

We are looking for a Growth Freelancer with a strong focus on technical SEO, content strategy, data analytics, and product-led growth to turbocharge FRVR’s organic engine. You’ll bring an end-to-end growth skill set – from Core Web Vitals tuning and multilingual SEO to cohort tracking and retention loops – to help scale our web game footprint across search and surface the right games to the right players at the right time.

Challenges & Responsibilities

1. Technical SEO & Site Performance

• Diagnose and optimise Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP) via modern front-end tactics (e.g., Brotli, lazy JS, critical CSS).
• Improve crawlability and rendering by implementing SSR/prerendering and managing robots.txt and sitemap strategies.
• Deploy structured data (Game, FAQ, Breadcrumb schemas) to capture more SERP real estate and drive qualified traffic.

2. On-Page Content Engineering

• Architect topical hubs and spoke content that match UX and crawlability best practices.
• Lay the foundation for multilingual SEO, including hreflang, language sitemaps, and scalable localisation workflows.
• Insert schema-enabled FAQ and how-to sections under canvases to match high-intent queries and win featured snippets.

3. Link Building & Digital PR

• Reverse-engineer competitors’ backlinks and execute outreach strategies that target high-DR domains.
• Secure directory listings, embeds, and partnership placements that drive traffic and SEO authority.
• Build linkable assets (e.g., data insights, infographics, themed skins) that generate natural backlinks and media interest.

4. Analytics, Instrumentation & Experimentation

• Track and visualise user behavior using GA4, GTM, BigQuery, and Looker to drive insight-led decisions.
• Design and interpret split tests to iterate on copy, load time, or retention mechanics.
• Tag channels effectively and track cohorts by LTV/CAC, including SEO traffic modeled by ad-revenue proxies.

5. Product-Led Growth & Retention

• Enhance UX and game performance with fast loads, responsive controls, and polished mobile play.
• Launch features like leaderboards, achievements, and daily challenges to increase engagement and retention.
• Use frameworks like RICE to prioritise growth and retention experiments with a bias for speed and impact.

6. Lightweight Front-End & DevOps

• Confident editing HTML/React and shipping changes via PR and CI/CD.
• Maintain clean GTM implementation and prevent tag/script bloat.

7. Paid UA (Bonus)

• Can support paid search/retargeting as a complement to organic engines – but not the primary focus.

We are looking for someone with:

• 4+ years in a growth, SEO, or technical marketing role; ideally with exposure to games, web platforms, or consumer tech.
• Deep expertise in technical SEO, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and crawlability fixes.
• Strong grasp of keyword research, content briefing, and multilingual SEO setup.
• Proficient in GA4, BigQuery, GTM, Looker, and statistical A/B testing.
• Comfortable working in a high-speed, product-driven environment where rapid execution is rewarded.
• Bonus: knowledge of paid acquisition and basic campaign management.
• Bias for action, data obsession, and hunger to ship high-impact wins fast.
