Job Description

This Industry Manager role focuses on building and managing relationships with C-level clients and executive stakeholders in the Consumer and Technology sectors. Responsibilities include developing comprehensive understanding of client business issues and marketing objectives, creating long-term strategies, leading cross-functional teams, achieving growth goals through Google advertising solutions, and providing data-driven analyses and recommendations. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, or business development, fluency in English and Swedish, and expertise in Google Advertising products. The role involves working within a fast-paced environment to help clients meet their marketing objectives, using strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven insights.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 years advertising/sales experience (or 3 years with advanced degree)
  • Fluency in English and Swedish
  • Business planning & sales strategy development
  • C-level client relationship management
Good to have:
  • 4 years of executive-level client management
  • Experience in complex organizations
  • Performance marketing expertise
  • Full business cycle experience
  • Fast-paced team environment adaptability

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of industry experience in advertising, consultative sales, or business development, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree
  • Experience in business planning and developing sales strategies and narratives.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Swedish fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience managing relationships with customers or agencies and service partners at an executive level.
  • 2 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Experience with performance marketers with full funnel marketing exposure.
  • Experience working across the full business cycle.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment.

We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with C-level clients and executive partner stakeholders. Develop a comprehensive understanding of their business issues, marketing objectives, and success metrics. 
  • Structure a clear, long-term joint strategy between Google and clients, and lead a cross-functional team within Google to collaborate on projects and drive client success. 
  • Plan for, and achieve, growth goals, through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing objectives. 
  • Develop forward thinking, data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, and quantify high-impact opportunities with clear recommendations to present to customers.
  • Build an in-depth knowledge of how Google Advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing objectives.
