The Middle Office Analyst plays a key role in ensuring the functional integrity and consistency of operations for the clearing house LCH SA.
Delivering specific services to clearing members and external partners is also part of this role.
We are currently seeking a motivated student to join the team under a 6 months internship contract.
The successful candidate will actively supply to day-to-day operations, maintenance of member and product reference data, and the setup of contracts in the clearing system covering the DigitalAssetClear Business line.
One of the core responsibilities will be supervising processes related to the clearing system—such as the opening and closing of the clearing session— Providing functional support to clients and perform testing following implementation of technical changes.
Comprehensive training and close supervision will be provided by experienced team members to ensure a successful onboarding and learning experience.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide functional support to client inquiries related to clearing activities
· Responsible for maintaining member and product reference data within the
clearing system
· Collaborate and coordinate with other teams on projects, initiatives, and group-
wide testing (e.g. default simulation of a clearing member)
· Handle incident and issue management
· Perform testing activities with clearing members
· Investigate and resolve client requests or issues, received via phone or email
Required Skills and Qualifications
· Master degree or equivalent experience or in Finance, Accounting, Economics,
or a related field
· Basic understanding of listed derivatives and market conventions
· Strong analytical skills and attention to details
. Excellent communication in english and french
· Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications (Power
BI)
· Proven knowledge of VBA and a good understanding of Python are highly
valued
· Critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills, with a structured analytical
approach
