Junior Backend Developer

Bohemia Interactive is looking for a Junior Backend Developer to join our team! You will be working with a team of backend developers to develop and maintain backend systems for our games and other products. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and testing of backend features, as well as the maintenance and optimization of existing systems. What You Will Do Design, implement, and test backend features Develop and maintain backend systems for games and other products Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our codebase Troubleshoot and debug backend issues Collaborate with other developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality products What We Need You To Know and Have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience) 1+ years of experience in backend development Experience with at least one backend programming language (e.g., C#, Java, Python, etc.) Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication skills Bonus Points Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) Experience with game development What We Offer An exciting job in the gaming industry A friendly and informal work environment Flexible working hours 25 days of paid holiday, 5 sick days Meal allowance and Cafeteria system Multisport card for free access to sports facilities in the Czech Republic or Slovakia and private medical care.
