The Oracle ERP Pre-Sales Consultant role involves collaborating with the commercial team to analyze customer needs and provide Oracle ERP solutions, particularly Oracle Fusion applications. Key responsibilities include conducting presentations, providing technical expertise, developing proposals, staying updated on industry trends, building client relationships, participating in client meetings, and utilizing advancements in technology to create value. The candidate will be expected to have a minimum of 7 years of experience in Oracle ERP solutions, with 4 years of experience with Oracle Fusion and 2 years in a Pre-Sales role. They should also have strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. This position requires working collaboratively across different teams and being able to work both independently and as part of a team to deliver proposals.
Must have:
  • 7 years of experience in Oracle ERP solutions
  • 4 years working with Oracle Fusion
  • 2 years in a Pre-Sales role
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion SaaS ERP modules
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
Good to have:
  • Previous role as an Oracle Fusion delivery / implementation consultant
  • Understanding and ability to demonstrate Oracle EPM and/or Oracle Fusion HCM solutions
  • Oracle Fusion ERP Certifications across Finance and Procurement
  • Previous experience of close working relationships with Oracle and, more specifically, their pre-sales team

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle ERP Pre-Sales Consultant to join our expanding Deal Execution team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Oracle ERP solutions, and more specifically Oracle Fusion applications, alongside a proven track record in pre-sales delivery. This role involves working closely with the commercial team to deliver compelling customer solutions and prospect bids across Private and Public Sector opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Commercial team to analyse customer needs and identify how Oracle solutions can address them.

  • Conduct customer facing presentations and product demonstrations, covering

  • Provide technical expertise and support during the sales process.

  • Develop and deliver compelling proposals and presentations.

  • Stay updated with the latest Oracle ERP developments and industry trends.

  • Drive the production of compelling PQQ/RFP/RFI/ITT responses.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

  • Participate in client meetings and workshops to gather requirements and provide solutions.

  • Work with the latest advancements in technology, including AI, to create customer value through proposed solutions and service offerings.

  • Collaborate with the internal Deal Execution team and other areas of the business to improve processes.

  • Support the pre-qualification of opportunities to ensure best use of time.

Qualifications

Core Skillset:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Oracle ERP solutions, of which:

    • 4 years will be working with Oracle Fusion

    • 2 years will be in a Pre-Sales role

  • Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion SaaS ERP modules with detailed knowledge across Finance and Procurement as a minimum.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Strong written skills in order to complete tender and internal documentation to a high standard.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, solutioning and attention to detail.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage at all levels across an organisation from end-user to IT / Finance Directors.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across the whole of the Version 1 organisation including Sales, Marketing, Delivery and Advisory services.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work either as part of a team or individually to deliver compelling proposals.

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous role as an Oracle Fusion delivery / implementation consultant with the Oracle SO ecosystem.

  • Alongside core ERP skills, a good understanding and ability to demonstrate Oracle EPM and/or Oracle Fusion HCM solutions.

  • Oracle Fusion ERP Certifications across Finance and Procurement.

  • Previous experience of close working relationships with Oracle and, more specifically, their pre-sales team.
