Job Description
As a Partner Engineer, you will help grow the Cloud business by building and expanding relationships with partners. You will advise partners, advocate for data privacy solutions, and support executive, analyst, and engineering teams. Responsibilities include identifying and recruiting partners, developing partner technical teams, keeping partners updated on product knowledge, advising on integration strategies, working with partner representatives on projects, and serving as a technical advocate within Google for partners. This role involves collaborating with Partner Managers to deliver solutions built on Google Cloud.
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent
- 10+ years cloud native architecture experience
- Customer-facing or support role experience
- Develop partner technical teams
- Advise on integration strategies
Good to have:
- Master's or PhD in relevant field
- Partnership-oriented role experience
- Cloud infrastructure sales & implementation experience
- Knowledge of public cloud market trends

Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Experience in a partnership-oriented role.
- Experience in sales and implementation of Cloud infrastructure as a service.
- Knowledge of product and solution market trends in the Public Cloud industry.

In this role, you will be an advisor to partners and an advocate for data privacy solutions, providing support to Executive, Analyst, and Engineering teams at partner companies. - Work with Partner Managers to identify and recruit partners in the market that can deliver solutions to our customers, built on top of Google Cloud.
- Develop our partners’ technical teams with both business and technical competencies.
- Keep partners up-to-date with product and technical knowledge and market differentiators. Advise on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms and application infrastructure required to implement a solution.
- Work with partner technical representatives in opportunities and projects.
- Serve as a technical advocate within Google for our partners in order to help provide feedback from the field, as well as to present on their behalf.
