Your role and responsibilities:
In-depth, hands-on involvement directly with customers implementing the Calypso system.
Work directly with the customer project team implementing the system and assist them in implementing their users’ requirements
Follow up with the users to test the implementation, achieve signoff, and continue to move the system toward launch.
System configuration, creation, regeneration and maintenance of the Market Quotes, Curves, Surfaces, creation of various realtime and saved Reports for the Client’s down-stream reporting, monitoring and analysis, configuration of the event-driven framework, configuration of real-time market data feed, etc.
Work hands-on with the system, configuring it and testing that it meets the customer’s functional requirements
The functional consultant will then typically follow up with the Client’s Business users to test the implementation, achieve signoff, and continue to move the system toward launch.
Train users and customer project team on the basic use of the system, particularly with the functional setup and prepare the brief and clear documents / mentorship for the Client to use.
We expect you to have
Experience working in systems or functional analysis, preferably in the capital markets industry with software including Cross Asset and a wide spectrum of Financial Instruments and Contracts like Foreign Exchange, FX Derivatives, Interest Rate Derivatives, Fixed Income, Money Market, Commodities, Equities, Limits and Compliance.
In both the OTC and the Exchange-Traded Products.
Preference for proven ability in implementing software and familiarity with Trade Lifecycles in support of any or all the following asset classes: credit derivatives, interest rate derivatives, equity derivatives, fixed income, or FX.
Hands‐on knowledge or experience in related areas like Trading, Pricing, Risk Analytics, Market data management and Trading interfaces.
Expertise in the implementation, product development and/or support of Front Office.
Experience writing functional and business specifications with the ability to map conceptual financial and business elements to practical system capabilities.
