Job Description

Zscaler is seeking an experienced Regional Director to join their Sales and Go-to-Market team. The role involves recruiting, hiring, and developing sales talent, coaching the team to exceed targets, and understanding customer pain points to offer Zscaler's unique value proposition. The Regional Director will act as the General Manager for their business, creating success plans, forecasting accurately, and serving as an executive sponsor for key partners. This role requires a deep understanding of strategic sales planning and closing new business, with an emphasis on building and maintaining customer relationships to facilitate digital transformation through cloud security.
Must have:
  • 8+ years of software or security sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience selling at C-Level
  • Must be located in the Bay Area
Good to have:
  • Established customer relationships
  • Understanding of customer goals and technology
  • Proficiency in strategic sales planning
  • Experience closing net new logos

Sales, Customer Success, Sales Enablement, Solution Architects, Business Development, Transformation, and Technology Partnerships all work together to demonstrate the power and agility of Zscaler cloud transformation to the world.

We're looking for an experienced Regional Director to join our Sales and Go-to-Market team. Reporting to the Regional Vice President, you'll be responsible for:

  • Recruiting, hiring and developing world-class sales talent, build development plans for each sales rep, and coach and motivate sales team to overachieve on targets
  • Understanding and solving customer pain points through Zscaler's unique value proposition
  • Being the GM of your business and create a plan for success, and accurately forecast business monthly/quarterly/yearly
  • Acting as the executive sponsor for key partners to create joint plans, generate pipeline and drive opportunities to closure

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications):

  • 8+ years of full-cycle sales experience within software or security industry
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Progressive selling experience engaging with accounts and selling at C-Level
  • Must be located in greater Bay Area 

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

  • You have established relationships with current and prospective customers
  • You understand the bigger picture, customer goals and how technology can facilitate them
  • Proficiency in strategic sales planning with experience closing net new logos
