Must have:
  • Support existing customers
  • Actively sell existing publishing products and place new releases on the market
  • Further develop the sales territory and monitor competitors
  • Independently acquire new customers in main and secondary markets
  • Participate in sales conferences and trade fairs

Freelance Sales Representative or a permanent Field Sales Manager (m/f/d)

Area to be covered: North Rhine-Westphalia

Your tasks as a new crew member:

  • Support for our existing customers
  • Active sale of existing publishing products and placement of new releases on the market
  • Further development of the sales territory and competitor monitoring
  • Independent new customer acquisition in main and secondary markets
  • Participation in sales conferences and trade fairs

Your expertise is in demand

  • You have proven professional experience in sales or field service and bring contacts in the book industry, preferably in the children's and youth book sector
  • Business thinking and acting is a matter of course for you and drives you
  • Openness to new things, courage, creativity, and a willingness to shape characterize you, and you prefer to use your "hands-on" mentality and organizational talent for products you are passionate about
  • You bring initiative, assertiveness, and the will to succeed/close, as well as tact in sales conversations
  • You work independently, structured, and autonomously, and you are proficient in using common Microsoft Office products
