Localization Quality Assurance Test Lead 

Position Summary 

As a Localization Test Lead, you will oversee game testing initiatives, directing team efforts to ensure high-quality results and timely completion. You will address potential issues, liaise with clients, and offer expert guidance to your team. Additionally, you will compile progress reports, enforce quality standards, assist in hiring and training testers, and handle administrative responsibilities as assigned by the Game Testing Manager. 

What You Will Do 

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise a game testing project. 

• Organize and manage a testing team. 

• Coordinate, monitor, and control the status and quality of tasks within projects or programs. 

• Identify and report risks and hazards in the testing process and resolve problems. 

• Communicate and cooperate with the customer as part of the project. 

• Prepare reports on work progress and resource usage. 

• Prepare or provide materials and guidelines for testing. 

• Ensure projects are executed according to the customer-defined schedule. 

• Provide expert support to project team members. 

• Supervise internal quality assurance procedures. 

• Support recruitment processes for game testing projects. 

• Supervise tester training for specific projects. 

• Assess the performance, progress, and quality of cooperation among project team members. 

• Perform administrative tasks assigned by the Game Testing Manager. 

• Carry out other activities necessary for the proper conduct of work as instructed by the Game Testing Manager. 

• Adhere to job-related procedures and standards. 
   

To Be Successful You Will Have  

• At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance or games quality assurance, with at least 1 year of experience managing a testing team.  

• Fluency in English.  

• Very good knowledge of the video game market and testing methodologies.  

• Proficiency in test tracking and support tools, as well as MS Office.  

• Highly developed interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.  

• Preferred higher education in languages or technology.
