Job Description

As a Senior 3D Artist, you will be a key figure in world-building, environment creation, and asset development, contributing to the visual identity of the game. You will collaborate with art direction, level designers, and technical artists to produce high-quality models, textures, and materials that bring the medieval world to life. Your responsibilities include creating 3D assets, developing realistic assets, optimizing models for real-time rendering, and maintaining visual consistency. You will also collaborate with the Art Director to refine artistic pipelines and stay current with industry trends.
Must have:
  • 3+ years of 3D Artist experience in gaming.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software.
  • Experience with Unreal Engine 5.
  • Strong PBR texturing skills.
  • Ability to adapt existing models.
  • Ability to optimize assets for performance.
  • Understanding of game-ready topology.
  • Passion for immersive world creation.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Good to have:
  • Experience with procedural asset generation.
  • Knowledge of animation rigging.
  • Background in medieval game aesthetics.
  • Experience with AI-driven NPC world-building.

Your Role

As a Senior 3D Artist, you will be at the forefront of world-building, environment creation, and asset development, helping to shape the visual identity of our game. You will work closely with art direction, level designers, and technical artists to create high-quality models, textures, and materials that bring our medieval world to life.


Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality 3D assets (environments, props, characters, and textures) that align with our artistic vision and technical constraints.
  • Develop realistic assets optimized for open-world, procedural environments.
  • Work closely with level designers and technical artists to integrate assets efficiently into the game engine.
  • Maintain high-performance standards by optimizing models for real-time rendering.
  • Ensure visual consistency and maintain a high-quality bar across all assets.
  • Collaborate with the Art Director to establish and refine artistic pipelines.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, new tools, and techniques in 3D modeling, procedural workflows, and material creation.


Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a 3D Artist in the gaming industry, with at least one shipped title in a senior capacity.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software (Blender, Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, Photoshop).
  • Experience with Unreal Engine 5, particularly with material creation, Nanite, and Lumen workflows.
  • Strong PBR texturing skills and knowledge of shader/material pipelines.
  • Ability to adapt and integrate existing models, basemeshes, materials, and textures (e.g. from Quixel Megascans) into new assets, ensuring seamless quality and consistency.
  • Ability to optimize assets for performance without sacrificing quality.
  • Solid understanding of game-ready topology, UV mapping, and LOD creation.
  • Passion for creating immersive worlds with procedural generation techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take ownership of tasks.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in an onsite environment.
  • Onsite position (EU work authorization required).
Nice to have
  • Experience with procedural asset generation (Houdini, Substance Designer).
  • Knowledge of animation rigging and character pipelines.
  • Background in medieval or survival game aesthetics.
  • Experience with AI-driven NPC world-building.
