Altagram is in search of an experienced and dynamic Senior Localization Project Manager (m/f/d) to join our team, reporting to our Montreal office. In this key position, you will spearhead project management initiatives while fostering and strengthening client relationships. With a keen emphasis on ensuring smooth communication and alignment with our global vision, you will play a crucial role in aiding our clients and contributing to our international success. 

This position can be done fully remote, the candidate should ideally be based in the EST/EDT Time zone.

YOUR ROLE

  • Directing and coordinating daily operations to deliver top-tier localization quality for video game titles.
  • Overseeing and managing project budgets while ensuring timely issuance of purchase orders and invoices.
  • Continuously monitoring localization quality and developing and implementing strategies to uphold exceptional standards.
  • Preparing detailed financial reports for headquarters, while managing client and vendor accounts with precision.
  • Building strategic partnerships with recording studios and expanding the language portfolio through proactive freelance sourcing.
  • Leading kick-off and post-mortem meetings, refining workflows to drive efficiency and continuous improvement.
Your profile
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, proficiency in PT-BR or LATAM languages is a strong advantage.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Localization Project Manager, demonstrating proven expertise in the field.
  • Previous experience within an agency or publisher, specifically in the gaming or localization industries, is essential.
  • Proficient in managing complex localization workflows, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • In-depth experience with text localization, along with a solid understanding of internationalization and globalization principles.
  • Outstanding communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities, with a proven track record in handling multiple projects.
  • Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, innovative, and creative, with comprehensive knowledge of localization processes.
  • Strong client-facing and negotiation skills, fostering positive relationships and successful outcomes.
  • Familiarity with standard industry software, file formats, and localization tools, such as MemoQ, Plunet, and Smartling.
