Airbyte is seeking a Bay Area-based Sales Director to join their sales team, reporting to the Head of Sales. The Sales Director will join the founding management team and play a key role in building and leading the field sales team while defining the GTM strategy. The responsibilities include leading and mentoring a team of Account Executives, identifying market opportunities, developing and executing a strategic plan to achieve sales targets, managing sales forecasting and reporting, and driving a culture of collaboration and customer satisfaction. The role also involves encouraging continuous learning about the technical product and customer base.
Must have:
- 4+ years of sales management experience in B2B SaaS.
- Demonstrated history of driving revenue and exceeding quota.
- Ability to solve complex business problems.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate the value of complex cloud technologies.

Opportunity
Airbyte is seeking a Bay Area-based Sales Director to join our sales team, reporting directly to the Head of Sales. This person will join the founding management team, and will have a great impact on not only building and leading the field sales team, but also defining our GTM strategy.
What You'll Do
- Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of enterprise Account Executives, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture
- Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, driving Airbyte’s continued expansion in the market
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Customer Success, Product) to align sales strategies with company objectives and ensure seamless execution
- Manage sales forecasting, reporting, and overall pipeline management, ensuring accurate and timely performance tracking
- Bring creative solutions to complex challenges, iterating on our sales process as we grow and scale
- Inspire a culture of hard work, collaboration, customer love, and ongoing improvement
- Encourage and support continuous learning and understanding of a technical product and technical customer base
What You'll Need
- 4+ Years of sales management experience in B2B sales within SaaS / Cloud / Data platforms
- Demonstrated history of driving revenue and exceeding quota attainment
- Proven ability to solve complex business problems and adapt to the fast-changing nature of high-growth companies
- Demonstrated ability to communicate the business value of complex cloud technologies, especially with technical customers
- Excellent organizational, presentation, and communication skills
- An optimistic attitude and growth mindset

Location
- San Francisco. Onsite 3x/week.
Salary
- $190,000 - $210,000 Base + Variable + a generous equity package, and benefits listed below for the U.S. market.
