Job Description

The Strategic Partnerships Development Manager role within Google's Online Partnerships Group (OPG) focuses on leveraging Google's product portfolio (AdSense, Google Marketing Platform) to help online publishers thrive. Responsibilities include crafting innovative advertising solutions, identifying new opportunities, and managing key accounts. The role requires strong client management skills, fluency in Mandarin and English, and a deep understanding of the online advertising landscape. This involves acting as a trusted advisor to C-level clients, maximizing client growth, establishing new partnerships, analyzing market trends, and developing strategic account plans. Cross-functional collaboration within OPG and across Google's Global Sellside organization is crucial. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in advertising, publishing, or the mobile/gaming industry.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years client management experience
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English
  • Account management & business growth expertise
  • Strategic planning & market analysis skills
  • Cross-functional collaboration
Good to have:
  • Experience in advertising, publishing, or the mobile/gaming industry
  • Ability to identify and pursue new opportunities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in client management and business or a related role.
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin and English fluently to partner with local clients and region partners.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in advertising, ads business generation, publishing, online services, or ad business.
  • Knowledge of the mobile or gaming industry.
  • Ability to identify and pursue opportunities.
  • Ability to engage and communicate with publishers and organizations.
  • Ability to work in a changing industry, and manage an evolving product set and client needs.
  • Excellent thinking and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor for partners, engage with C-level clients, and provide advice to motivate further business growth.
  • Maximize client business growth through account management, and by promoting improvements and strategies as a consultant.
  • Establish partnerships with C-level developers.
  • Analyze market trends and develop strategy and account plans for partners.
  • Work cross-functionally within Online Partnerships Group and through the Google and Global Sellside organization.
