Job Description

This Senior Account Strategist role within Google Customer Solutions focuses on driving growth and product adoption among Chinese mid-market clients. Responsibilities include developing client business, achieving tactical goals while prioritizing customer experience, improving agency and customer relationships, contributing performance-enhancing suggestions, and meeting business growth targets. The role involves providing tactical advice, ensuring advertising ROI, and collaborating with Executive Account Strategists. Fluency in Mandarin and English is essential, along with 5+ years of business, marketing, or problem-solving experience, and 2+ years managing Chinese enterprise clients. Experience with Google Ads and YouTube is preferred.

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in business, marketing or business problem-solving at an agency, technology, or media company.
  • 2 years of experience in managing Chinese enterprise clients, agencies, or customers.
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin and English fluently to support local clients.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in business within the technology, advertising, media or internet environments.
  • Experience with Google Ads and YouTube account management with managing advertising or media campaigns.
  • Experience in managing multiple accounts while paying attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and grow in a changing environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and thinking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Chinese customer’s business via directly driving scaled product adoption and growth.
  • Work towards tactical goals while prioritizing and delivering quality customer experience to Google's agencies and advertisers.
  • Implement ways to improve our agency and customer relationships and share performance enhancing suggestions.
  • Carry business growth and productivity goals, and motivate in-quarter business growth and product adoptions.
  • Provide tactical advice and help our advertisers get the investment return on their advertising by working in a consultative role with Executive Account Strategist.
