Job Description

The Supervisor Production role involves daily monitoring of production processes, identifying and implementing initiatives to improve product quality, and coordinating with support departments for maintenance. The role also includes supervising labor distribution to meet schedules and managing labor costs. The goal is to ensure performance, product aesthetics, and safety standards are met, ultimately supporting department objectives and customer requirements.
Must have:
  • Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree with technical background.
  • Strong leadership to drive team.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Proactive and results oriented.

Job Description

  1. Daily monitoring of production processes and methods to ensure performance, product aesthetics and safety standards are achieved.
  2. Identify and implement people initiatives, which directly improve product quality and eliminate non-value added work to ensure cost effective, product quality is achieved.
  3. Identify problems and suggest engineering solutions which directly improve process / product quality.
  4. Coordinate with support departments (Facilities and Engineering) to ensure that process equipment and line tooling undergo regular Preventative and Line Maintenance at the appropriate times.
  5. Implement and maintain systems / procedures to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18000
  6. Provide assistance, support, instruction and motivation of all subordinates in order to get positive result to support department objectives.
  7. Supervise production labor distribution and process performance to ensure daily and weekly schedule adherence is achieved and customers requirements are met on a timely basis.
  8. Supervise labor costs through the effective use of resources, thus achieving the production primary processes efficiency targets and attaining Labor Rate predictions

Qualifications

Job Requirements :

Formal Educational Level: Diploma or Bachelor degree with technical background.

Working Experience: Minimum 3 years working experience in manufacturing environment process - preferably as a Production Supervisory role.

Competencies:

  • Strong leadership, able to drive team to meet the goal & make improvement.
  • People development, able to develop Team Leaders
  • Good communication in English (orally and written)
  • Team Player, work as a team.
  • Proactive and results oriented.
  • Willing to work in rotating shift basis from Monday to Saturday.
