We are looking for an experienced Test Lead to manage all testing activities for a large-scale system migration and integration project. The role involves owning the System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases, ensuring thorough system validation, coordinating with stakeholders, and adhering to enterprise quality standards. Experience with Sphera is a plus.

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Test Lead to oversee and manage all testing activities for a large-scale system migration and integration project. The Test Lead will take ownership of the System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases, ensuring thorough validation of systems, seamless stakeholder coordination, and alignment with enterprise quality standards. (Sphera is a plus) 

Responsibilities

  • Own and lead the System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases.
  • Coordinate and manage test execution across the testing team, ensuring quality and timeliness.
  • Monitor testing progress, validate results, and escalate defects or risks as necessary.
  • Ensure traceability of test cases to requirements and maintain alignment with project goals.
  • Lead stakeholder communication regarding testing status, issues, and decisions.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of all test documentation, including:
    • Test Strategy, Test Plan, Kickoff Decks, Test Closure Reports, and Business Sign-off docs
  • Conduct report validation and data integrity checks, including side-by-side comparisons and user reviews.
  • Support regression testing of the legacy HSN (Hazard Study Notes) module and its integration with the new ARA system.
  • Assess the need for performance testing and help define system performance metrics if no SLA exists.
  • Collaborate on planning for the future decommissioning and data archival of the HSN system.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., ALM, Jira, Zephyr, TestRail)
  • Experience developing and reviewing test strategy, plans, and closure reports
  • Familiarity with performance testing concepts and tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner)
  • Experience with Sphera is a plus
  • Strong understanding of data validation and reporting tools
  • Experience in cloud-based environments and legacy-to-modern system integrations
  • Ability to manage traceability between test cases and requirements

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a QA/Test Lead or similar role
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale SIT and UAT efforts
  • Strong documentation and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including business users and developers
  • Familiarity with Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE) standards and practices
  • Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills
  • Experience in enterprise environments, preferably in regulated or safety-critical industries
