Overview Our client is a leading creator of body motion video games that run on anything from mobile devices to TVs. They are seeking a Game UI Specialist/ Technical Artist to join their expanding team. This role will be pivotal in bridging the gap between artistic vision and technical implementation, ensuring the game's visual elements are both stunning and performant. What You Will Do

Design and develop user interface components, including layouts, animations, and visual effects within the Unity engine, adhering to design specifications

Collaborate with UI/UX design teams to accurately translate concepts into functional game elements

Enhance UI performance and responsiveness to deliver a seamless player experience

Support additional technical art requirements, including but not limited to creating visual effects, shader programming, and 3D animation tasks

What You Will Need

Expert-level knowledge of Unity game engine

Strong capabilities in UI development, encompassing layout design, animation creation, and special effects implementation

Hands-on experience with UI frameworks like UGUI is preferred

Proficiency in 2D and 3D art tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, and Maya

Knowledge of optimization techniques for performance-heavy UI elements

Strong teamwork skills, particularly in cross-functional environments with designers and programmers

If you have experience in other technical art areas like VFX, shaders, and 3D animation would be a big plus
