Position Overview

Tencent Cloud Media Services provide a one-stop audio/video solution covering video-on-demand, live streaming, real-time communication, short video, instant messaging, media processing service, and more. Industry-leading technologies provide a competitive edge in entertainment, social networking, education, gaming, live streaming, and other applications.

With our strong business growth, we are now looking for an experienced pre-sales Senior Solution Architect who will work very closely with the sales teams to provide pre-sales technical solutions to our potential clients on our Media Services products across different markets in SEA. The ideal candidate will excel in evaluating and qualifying the customer and providing the corresponding technical advice to internal parties and clients. With a strong emphasis on teamwork and innovation, you will take the lead in formulating a complete solution to customers by identifying and securing domain expertise and resource, through the liaison with different Tencent Cloud technical and product teams (mostly based in our China headquarters).

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the regional sales team as the point of contact for customers in the field of audio and video. Provide technical support for pre-sales technical consultation and PoC verification services, maintain customer relationships, and assist the business team in achieving their goals.
• Support the regional architecture team in analyzing customers' media business technology architecture and identifying their needs and values in audio and video scenarios. Provide industry solutions and case studies for international markets, such as OTT, social media, gaming, education, and business.
• Understand industry solutions and combine customers' business and technical requirements with the features of Tencent's audio and video products. Help customers achieve their goal and values. Effectively communicate the customer requirements and industry requirements to product development team.
• Actively participate in public online and offline product/industry presentations to share Tencent's media product capabilities, industry experience, and insights. Enhance the influence of Tencent Cloud Media Service, strengthen and establish Tencent's industry customer network in the field of media services.
• Actively collaborate with the channel and marketing teams to support Tencent Cloud's regional ecosystem partners, including channel empowerment training, participating in workshops, and Media Demo Day.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in computing related majors.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant pre-sales technical experience with a strong familiarity on cloud audio and video products and solutions, such as live streaming, video on demand, encoding/decoding and network transmission.
• Excellent language proficiency in both English and Chinese Mandarin in order to manage the vast backgrounds of clientele
• Personal attributes: highly-driven, customer service oriented, with the ability to communicate with C-suite technical decision makers.
