Job Description

This Account Manager role at Google focuses on large retail clients in Mexico City. Responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service, identifying and resolving client challenges, leveraging Google's advertising products to optimize campaign results, and understanding market trends. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and communication skills, proven experience in online advertising sales, and fluency in English and Spanish. They will work closely with clients to develop and implement strategic advertising plans across various Google platforms, ensuring successful campaign outcomes and client satisfaction. The role requires expertise in digital media, problem-solving abilities, and leadership skills.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years client-facing experience in online advertising
  • Experience in sales management and digital media
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Good to have:
  • Retail industry experience

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of client-facing experience in the online advertising industry (i.e., advertising agencies, ad networks, advertising technology companies or technical account management).
  • Experience in sales management and digital media products and services.
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Spanish to communicate with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in or working with the Retail industry.

We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to Google's advertisers. Identify and solve client problems.
  • Learn and work with Google's ongoing development of advertiser products to maximize client campaign results.
  • Understand Big Data and business intelligence market trends as well as the ability to work towards goals in a fluid environment, work with dedication towards client services.
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate leadership, influencing, organizational, communication and teamwork skills.
