Job Description

This Account Manager role focuses on developing and executing comprehensive business strategies for key Google clients, leveraging Google's advertising products (search, display, video, and apps) to drive international growth. The role requires cultivating and managing relationships with key stakeholders, collaborating on international projects, and providing strategic guidance. Data analysis, identifying growth opportunities, and implementing data-driven optimizations are key responsibilities. The successful candidate will own a book of business, aligning customer objectives with internal and external Google resources, while proactively seeking new business opportunities within existing accounts. Fluency in Portuguese is essential for managing client relationships in that region.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in advertising/sales/marketing
  • Fluent Portuguese
  • Develop & implement client strategies
  • Manage client relationships
  • Analyze data & drive optimizations
Good to have:
  • Experience in strategy consulting
  • Experience in performance marketing or e-commerce
  • Understanding of digital marketing products
  • Ability to present technical and financial data

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing roles.
  • Ability to communicate in Portuguese fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in strategy consulting, in-house consulting, business development, or consultative sales, with an ability to work independently and proactively in a constantly evolving environment, effectively managing resources across all levels of the value chain.
  • Experience in developing strategies under imperfect information to achieve business objectives, alongside expertise in performance marketing or e-commerce.
  • Understanding of digital marketing products.
  • Ability to gather and present technical and financial data to promote products and services.
  • Ability to effectively influence across all levels of the organization to align on shared goals while using the sales lifecycle to drive business.

We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies for key clients, leveraging Google's advertising products (search, display, video, and apps) to drive international growth and achieve their business goals.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders at top companies across various industries, understanding their unique needs and challenges.
  • Collaborate with clients on international projects, providing strategic guidance and ensuring successful implementation of Google's advertising solutions in different markets.
  • Analyze data trends and consumer insights to identify opportunities and develop compelling narratives that drive client growth and maximize business impact, while monitoring and analyzing campaign performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing data-driven optimizations.
  • Own our book of business, aligning customer objectives and expectations with internal and external Google resources to foster long-term growth while proactively identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts.
