We’re looking to hire an Applications Engineer – Jira Solution Architect for a remote opportunity with a top-tier interactive entertainment company. This is a 6-month contract opportunity.
Join a global leader in gaming, known for its innovative culture and mission-driven work. As part of the Information Technology team, you’ll design, build, and maintain work systems on the Jira Cloud platform, supporting operations for large-scale initiatives across a globally distributed team.

Applications Engineer Responsibilities:
Collaborate with operations leads to translate team needs into Jira Cloud configurations.
Build and maintain dashboards, boards, and reports for operational insights.
Manage change requests and Jira configuration updates.
Provide training on Jira Software Cloud and add-ons (Structure, eazyBI, Zephyr Scale).
Move configurations from sandbox to production environments following change management procedures.
Develop reusable and scalable solutions for game operations tracking.
Maintain documentation, runbooks, and design standards.
Applications Engineer Qualifications:
4–6 years of experience with Jira Software Cloud.
2+ years of experience with Structure.
Hands-on experience in environments with 100+ projects and 1,000+ users.
Familiarity with large-scale Jira work systems supporting multiple teams.
Advanced skills in Jira add-ons: Advanced Planning, Automation, ScriptRunner, eazyBI, Structure, Custom Charts.
Experience working in hybrid teams (internal and vendors).
Strong grasp of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban frameworks.
Excellent communication, documentation, and remote collaboration skills.
Groovy scripting with ScriptRunner (preferred).
Jira-Slack workflow integrations (preferred).
Atlassian Analytics, Intelligence, and Rovo (preferred).
Experience with Salto or other configuration delivery platforms (preferred).
Background in SAFe, LeSS, or similar Agile frameworks (preferred).
ACP-620 and/or ACP-120 Jira Cloud certifications (preferred).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (preferred).
