Oculus Studios and Sanzaru Games is seeking an experienced Art Producer to work on our world class virtual reality games. Art Producer, Sanzaru Games Responsibilities:

  • Primarily manages the workflow and assets for all art outsourcing initiatives while also assisting the internal art team as needed
  • Plans, organizes, and manages the process of outsourcing art assets to external vendors
  • Defines workflows and processes to ensure minimal impact on the internal team while ensuring maximum efficiency from the external artists
  • Ingests deliverables from external teams and imports them into the project for development
  • Prepares and sets up tasks for the outsourced artists, including any technical setups required within Maya or Unreal
  • Ensures naming conventions, file structures, and asset protocols as defined by the team are adhered to by the external artists
  • Manages the versioning of proxy and delivered assets in Perforce
  • Collaborates with internal Leads and Producers to establish priorities, reviews, feedback loops, and tasks
  • Works across multiple disciplines to determine the outsourcing schedule, identifying resource gaps, delays, and quality improvements
  • Partners with Leads to ensure the delivery of timely feedback to the outsourced teams
  • Creates and maintains a system for archiving work that exists outside of the game, such as marketing concept and key art
  • Maintains a positive relationship with the vendors and holds all parties accountable for high quality deliverables



Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years producing art teams working on Console/PC or VR games
  • Experience working with outsource partners and managing offshore vendor teams
  • Experience with Maya, UE5, and P4 and taking on basic setup and importing art tasks
  • Experience with task tracking and task reviewing software, such as Jira, Trello, and SyncSketch
  • Proven experience communicating with cross functional team members
  • Experience working independently and proactively



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience shipping AAA titles on VR, console, or PC
  • Experience working on a VR Project

$129,000/year to $182,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
