Trek is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Benefits Analyst to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in benefits administration, a deep understanding of employee benefits programs, and excellent analytical skills. The Benefits Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective implementation, communication, and administration of our employee benefits programs in the US and Canada. This role requires strong organization, time management, attention to detail, and a “get stuff done” attitude.

What you’ll do:
Benefits Administration & Support: Support employees with benefits enrollment, resolve inquiries, and ensure a seamless benefits experience.
HR Business Partner Support: Work alongside our HR Business Partners to provide guidance and support on our benefit and wellness offerings.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze benefits trends, costs, and utilization to provide data-driven insights. Prepare reports and dashboards to support decision-making.
Leave Administration: Manage and track employee leave programs, including FMLA, disability, parental leave, and other company-sponsored leave policies.
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all benefits programs adhere to federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., ACA, HIPAA, ERISA, COBRA). Conduct audits to maintain compliance.
Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with benefits providers, brokers, and third-party administrators to optimize plan offerings.
Strategic Benefits Planning: Assist in evaluating current benefits and wellness programs and recommend enhancements based on industry benchmarks and employee needs.
Wellness Programs: Work alongside Clinic and Support Staff to support employee wellness initiatives by tracking participation and measuring effectiveness.
Education Assistance Programs: Guide employees and their dependents through the tuition reimbursement and scholarship programs.
What You'll Bring to the role:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
3+ years of experience in benefits administration
Strong knowledge of health, dental, vision, retirement plans, and wellness programs.
Experience managing Employee Stock Ownership Programs (ESOP).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in benefits management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) or similar certification is a plus.
Salaried position with the range between 65-75K based on experience
