Digital Marketing Manager

The Opportunity

• Develop and execute a full-funnel marketing strategy (brand, performance, CRM, loyalty, etc.) to achieve IGN Store revenue and audience growth goals.
• Own marketing calendar and coordinate with other IGN Entertainment teams to promote new product launches, sales events, and brand awareness campaigns tied to gaming and entertainment releases.
• Build and oversee multi-channel campaigns across email, paid media, SEO/SEM, organic social, affiliate partnerships, O&O, push, and other channels.
• Collaborate closely with IGN’s editorial, video, and social teams to amplify Store initiatives across owned and operated  media.
• Lead audience development and sales funnel optimization to improve Store KPIs.
• Analyze campaign performance and e-commerce KPIs; provide regular reporting and actionable insights to the team.
• Provide feedback on merchandising and PDP pages.
• Collaborate on budgeting and forecasting as related to marketing initiatives for IGN Store
• Stay up to date on pop culture launches, developments, anniversaries and use this knowledge to expand the IGN Store marketing calendar.

Job Qualifications

• 5-7+ years experience in DTC ecommerce marketing required, with expertise in social media, influencer marketing, and content strategy
• Familiarity with a range of Martech CRM (email, push, etc.) platforms and best practices 
• Hands-on experience building, deploying, and optimizing paid media campaigns across search and social platforms
• A strong analytical mindset and experience with analytics tools, A/B testing and marketing automation best practices
• Strong copy writing background
• Personal familiarity with current video games, comic books, and other key facets of geek culture
• IGN Store is a small team; we are seeking candidates with an entrepreneurial mindset and a high level of independent initiative, able to drive forward multiple concurrent projects.
• Experience with the Shopify platform is a plus. 

• Work Schedule: Standard full-time working schedule, M-F. There is no expectation for this role to work weekends, holidays, or odd hours. 
• Travel Requirements: Occasional travel is required for this role to industry events such as conferences and expos. 
• Physical Requirements: This role involves typical office and computer-based activities, including prolonged periods of sitting or standing and frequent use of hands, fingers, and vision for tasks such as operating a computer, mouse, and keyboard. Occasional travel is required, which could include lifting and carrying materials, and navigating airports, hotels, and other venues. • Work Model: For applicants who reside in or around Los Angeles and New York, there will be a requirement to go into our offices 2-3 days per week. For others located in different areas around the world, this position will be remote.

Salary Disclosure: Ziff Davis provides a range for the base pay. Factors that may be used to determine your actual pay may include your specific job related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The base pay for this position ranges from $75,000 to $85,000, 401K with company match, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, short and long-term disability, and a flexible time off policy.
