Will report to Senior Director People Partnership Europe. This role is based at our Stockholm office, Hybrid.
Responsibilities:
What the Director, People Partnerships does at EA:
You will develop partnerships with business leaders, People Experience leaders and management across client group(s) throughout Sweden and Finland to support a wide range of people related activities that support delivery of business strategy and goals, including leadership capability, performance management and team effectiveness;
You will provide leadership and oversight to your team as they prepare for, manage and communicate the cyclical programs including: compensation planning, performance, talent and succession planning, team engagement surveys and action planning;
You will lead a team of People Partner professionals to ensure consistent and streamlined practices and services across the business;
You will analyze workforce data across the BU and designated site and people metrics to improve the worker experience, assess gaps and opportunities and provides insights to help inform the right decisions;
You will support our ability to change by developing the capacity and readiness for change across the business/region and facilitates change plans for client group(s) including coaching management on planning and communications and ensuring change acceptance and sustainability;
You will support the ongoing development and career progression of team members through coaching, performance feedback and career discussion to foster meaningful career experiences while meeting the needs of the business;
You will work with managers, employees and COEs to respond to employee relations issues and develop overall capability to foster a healthy, cohesive, collaborative, fun and fair workplace.
You will enable Site Governance to ensure leadership collaboration across designated sites. Is an active member of site governance in the Stockholm Location.
Country Role - You will be responsible for ensuring that People Policies and Practices are kept up to date to mitigate risk and remain compliant in partnership with People Policy Excellence and Legal. You will review and approve exception requests across BU's to ensure consistency and compliance with country laws and fair treatment. Partner with legal to ensure changes to country employment laws and legislation are understood by the team. Escalates country risk concerns in a timely manner to Senior Director, People Practices Europe.
You will be a subject matter expert in local CBAs/Unions relationships, serves as an escalation point to the team on more complex matters. You will partner with PPE team and legal on CBA, Unions and labour law matters. Stakeholder in all responses/decisions as it relates to Union relationships. You will be a key stakeholder managing the relation with the Unions.
Qualifications:
You have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field combined with over 15 years’ progressive experience as an HR business partner and manager;
Ability to think strategically, execute tactically, and collaborate across regional and global stakeholder groups;
Comfort in speaking truth to power;
Proven experience using data and data-driven insights to support the business;
Builder of HR solutions based on best practices, and an astute business member who employs solutions that affect the current and future performance of the business;
Subject matter expert, with demonstrated experience in coaching and development, change management, and overall talent management;
Strong change management skills - able to navigate complex problems, evaluate the options and partner to achieve the best business results.
Outstanding project leadership and delivery experience; overseeing region-wide, high impact talent programs across the business;
Experience with regional/local employment legislation combined with the ability to gain a high-level understanding of regional employment customs and practices;
Has experience creating healthy organizations, driving transformation and helping culture be a competitive advantage.
