Job Description

Electronic Arts is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join the PQI team. This role involves using data to enhance player experiences in games by analyzing behavior, designing feedback events, and translating insights into action. The analyst will collaborate with developers, designers, and researchers to ensure games meet player expectations. Responsibilities include defining goals, providing data-driven guidance, analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities, writing scripts for data cleaning and transformation, building reports and visualizations, and promoting best practices in dashboards and data visualization. The position offers flexibility with a hybrid work model.
Must have:
  • 3+ years in analytical role (gaming, tech, consumer insights)
  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative field
  • Foundation in statistics (regression, classification, probability, modeling)
  • Advanced SQL skills
  • Proficient in Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
  • Comfortable presenting insights
Good to have:
  • Experience with Python or R
  • A/B testing experience
  • Behavioral analytics experience

At PQI, we use data to help game teams create unforgettable player experiences. We analyse behaviour, design feedback events, and turn insights into action. As a Senior Data Analyst, you'll work with developers, designers, and researchers to ensure our games meet player expectations. You'll report to the Director, PQI Data, and play a key role in shaping how we understand our players. This hybrid role offers flexibility to work remotely or on-site, depending on project needs.
Responsibilities

  • Partner with teams to define goals and provide data-driven guidance on player behaviour and feedback design.
  • Analyse data to identify risks, opportunities, and trends; share insights with partners.
  • Write scripts and queries to clean and transform data.
  • Build reports and visualisations to support playtest strategies and product improvements.
  • Promote best practices in dashboards and data visualisation.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in an analytical role, in gaming, tech, or consumer insights.
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Economics).
  • Foundation in statistics: regression, classification, probability, and modelling.
  • Advanced SQL skills; experience with large datasets.
  • Proficient in Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
  • Comfortable presenting insights to all audiences.

Bonus: Experience with Python or R, A/B testing, or behavioural analytics.
