Zamp is looking for a Frontend Engineer to build a new infrastructure platform from scratch. The role involves designing and developing high-quality front-end solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, leading a team of front-end developers, and ensuring the scalability and responsiveness of applications. The engineer will be instrumental in shaping the vision for the infrastructure platform and ensuring its scalability as the business grows.
Must have:
- 2+ years of experience as a Front-End Engineer
- Proficiency in web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience leading or mentoring junior developers
- Deep understanding of front-end architecture and design
- Knowledge of responsive design principles
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles
- Excellent problem-solving and proactive attitude
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks
- Strong attention to detail and passion for user experience

What we are actively looking for:
- 2+ years of experience as a Front-End Engineer, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality front-end solutions
- Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Experience in leading a team or mentoring junior developers, demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills
- Deep understanding of front-end architecture, design patterns, and best practices
- Strong knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with designers
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards finding solutions
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks while adhering to deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences
You are likely to succeed in this role if you bring experiences in
- Designing and developing high-quality, scalable, and performant front-end solutions using modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.)
- Collaborating with product managers, UX/UI designers, and back-end engineers to translate requirements and designs into functional, user-friendly interfaces
- Leading a team of front-end developers, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Acting as a technical expert, staying updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in front-end development
- Driving continuous improvement in development processes, code quality, and front-end architecture
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement best practices, standards, and coding conventions
- Conducting performance optimisations and ensuring the scalability and responsiveness of our front-end applications
- Championing usability and accessibility standards, ensuring our applications are intuitive and accessible to a diverse user base
- Staying informed about user feedback and conducting user testing to make data-driven decisions for UI/UX improvements
- Staying aligned with project timelines and delivering high-quality work within agreed-upon deadlines
