Job Description

As Head of Finance at Stepico, you'll take full ownership of financial reporting (PL, CF, Balance Sheets, budgeting, forecasting), ensuring accuracy and strategic value. You will build and lead the finance team, driving process efficiency and succession planning. Responsibilities include identifying opportunities for automation, collaborating with stakeholders, leading profitability analysis, managing financial processes and policies, monitoring key metrics, and acting as a key contact for auditors and banks. You'll need at least 5 years of financial leadership experience, 3+ years in IT outsourcing, and strong knowledge of EU audit reporting. Experience with financial and management accounting principles, project profitability analysis, and cost reduction is crucial.

Requirements

  • Experience in financial leadership roles  (Head of Finance, Financial Director, Deputy Financial Director, CFO) – at least 5 years;
  • Experience in IT outsourcing – at least 3 years, with a deep understanding of the industry’s specifics (contracts, project profitability analysis, international clients, financial optimization)
  • Experience and knowledge with audit reporting (EU); interaction with auditors on reporting preparation;
  • Experience and knowledge in preparing PL, CF, Balance, Budgeting and forecasting;
  • Confident knowledge of financial and management accounting principles;
  • English B2+ (communication with auditors, banks, clients);
  • Higher education (finance, economics, accounting and auditing);
  • Projects and accounts profitability analysis;
  • Providing insights into the financial health of the organization;
  • Looking for cost-reduction opportunities.

Main responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of financial reporting, including PL, CF, Balance Sheets, Budgeting and forecasting, and oversee the accuracy and strategic value of financial reports;
  • Build, mentor, and lead the finance team to ensure process efficiency and succession planning;
  • Identify opportunities for financial process automation and lead their implementation to increase efficiency;
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to unify financial terminology and provide a clear financial picture;
  • Lead profitability analysis for projects and accounts, offering actionable insights;
  • Manage and ensure consistency in financial processes and policies across all departments, with a focus on cost optimization;
  • Monitor key financial metrics and identify opportunities for strategic improvement;
  • Act as a key point of contact for auditors, banks, and financial institutions;
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of all financial reports for stakeholders and audits ;
  • Manage banking relationships and oversee payment processes.
