Junior Marketing Manager – Social First (6 month fixed-term contract)

Job Description

You’ll join Tinder’s DACH Marketing team during an exciting phase of creative reinvention and cultural experimentation. This role is social-first and Gen Z-focused, with a clear mission: to shape how Tinder shows up in culture through content, creators, and bold ideas. You’ll contribute across organic and paid channels, support campaign execution, and help bring our brand voice to life in real-time moments. Expect fast-paced collaboration, international context, and lots of ownership from day one. This role is a 6-month fixed-term contract and requires in-office collaboration three days per week in Berlin.
Must have:
  • Plan and execute social-first campaigns across organic and paid channels.
  • Drive creative development, working closely with internal stakeholders, influencers, and external agencies.
  • Collaborate with global teams to localize Tinder’s voice for the DACH Gen Z community.
  • Own project management from ideation to reporting, timelines, asset coordination, creative briefings.
  • Monitor performance and optimize content based on KPIs and insights.
  • Track and share competitor analysis on a regular basis.
  • Identify emerging trends, platforms, creators, and moments, and turn them into Tinder opportunities.
  • Be the primary point of contact for our Social Agency for Always-on and community management alignment.
  • Contribute to cultural insights and user research, fueling relevance and resonance.
  • Report directly to the Sr Director Marketing DACH and collaborate across Product, PR, Business Development, and Creative.
Good to have:
  • Personal presence or fluency on TikTok, Instagram Reels, or emerging platforms
  • Experience localizing a global brand for a DACH audience
  • Basic editing or design skills (e.g. Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, Figma)
  • Previous experience in Gen Z–focused industries (e.g. fashion, music, lifestyle, tech, entertainment)
  • Comfort with performance data and turning insights into action
  • Understanding of social-safe legal and brand safety frameworks (especially in Germany)
  • Experience working in or with cross-functional, international teams
  • An opinionated POV on what’s working (and what’s tired) in brand marketing for Gen Z

The Role

You’ll join Tinder’s DACH Marketing team during an exciting phase of creative reinvention and cultural experimentation. You’ll contribute across organic and paid channels, support campaign execution, and help bring our brand voice to life in real-time moments. Please note that this role is a 6-month fixed-term contract

Where you’ll work:

This is a hybrid role and requires in-office collaboration three days per week. This position is located in Berlin.

In this role, you will:

  • Plan and execute social-first campaigns across organic and paid channels, from TikTok to Instagram to whatever’s next
  • Drive creative development, working closely with internal stakeholders, influencers, and external agencies
  • Collaborate with global teams to localize Tinder’s voice for the DACH Gen Z community
  • Own project management from ideation to reporting, timelines, asset coordination, creative briefings
  • Monitor performance and optimize content based on KPIs and insights

You’ll need:

  • To speak native-level German and fluent English, effortlessly, across channels
  • A deep understanding of German youth culture, trends, and what really moves Gen Z
  • Proven marketing experience, ideally in a brand or agency where social is the heartbeat
  • Experience working with creators or influencers, from scouting to briefing to performance tracking
  • Familiarity with paid social campaign structures and boosting mechanics
  • An instinct for what’s next: you live and breathe trends, memes, and moments
  • Confidence using tools like GSuite, Asana, and Excel to stay organized and move fast
  • The ability to juggle projects, deadlines, and details like a pro
  • A sharp creative mind with the discipline to deliver
  • Real passion for culture, tech, and inclusive narratives that matter
  • Availability to jump in ASAP, and commit for 6 months of hands-on impact
