Head of Global PR & CR is responsible for developing, managing, and effectively executing KRAFTON’s global communications strategy to support the achievement of the company’s organizational goals. This role maintains and nurtures relationships with media, customers, partners, shareholders, and other key stakeholders, while overseeing the integrated management of Corporate Identity and President Identity to enhance, strengthen, and protect KRAFTON’s global brand awareness and reputation.
Corporate Brand Division at KRAFTON plays a pivotal role in shaping and elevating the company’s global brand presence. We are responsible for building and managing the corporate narrative, driving consistent messaging across markets, and safeguarding the company’s reputation. Our mission is to ensure that KRAFTON is perceived as a bold, creative, and globally trusted company by effectively integrating Corporate Identity (CI), President Identity (PI), and corporate-level communications strategies.
We lead strategic initiatives across public relations, corporate reputation, executive communications, internal communications, and brand storytelling, while working closely with key internal and external stakeholders. By proactively engaging with media, partners, government entities, and the wider industry, we position KRAFTON as a thought leader and champion of innovation in the global entertainment and tech space.
Strategic Storytelling
Craft compelling brand narratives that reflect KRAFTON’s identity and business goals. Leverage insights from global industry trends, audience behavior, and market dynamics to build storytelling strategies that resonate across diverse regions and platforms.Global Communications Strategy
Design and implement integrated communications plans that elevate KRAFTON’s voice in key markets. Monitor global media landscapes, evaluate press performance, and tailor strategies to regional nuances and stakeholder expectations.Media Relations
Drive earned media results through strong relationships with top-tier domestic and international outlets. Lead all aspects of media engagement—from developing tailored pitches and exclusives to optimizing send times and crafting stories that reflect current industry trends.Crisis Communications
Lead proactive and responsive crisis communications to protect KRAFTON’s reputation. Work cross-functionally to ensure messaging is aligned with business objectives and consistent across all stakeholders during high-pressure situations.Stakeholder Engagement
Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Operations teams to manage regulatory risks and opportunities. Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align public affairs with corporate strategy. Build and nurture relationships with key external stakeholders including industry groups and government bodies to drive impactful CSR and thought leadership initiatives.Internal Communications
Build internal communications programs that inform, inspire, and align global teams. Deliver leadership messaging, promote cultural initiatives, and support organizational change through well-crafted internal campaigns and content.Government Affairs
Develop strategies to engage with policymakers, regulators, and industry associations to support KRAFTON’s business objectives. Monitor and interpret political, legal, and regulatory developments, providing strategic counsel to leadership and functional teams on how to navigate the public policy landscape.
Key Qualifications
- Extensive experience (13+ years) in corporate communications, public relations, or a related field, with a strong understanding of global media ecosystems and proven success in managing high-stakes communication strategies.
- A credible and collaborative communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills, fluent in both English and Korean, and able to effectively engage and influence a wide range of internal and external stakeholders—including executives, media, and regulators—across global and local contexts.
- Proactive and adaptable leadership mindset, with the ability to anticipate external developments and respond with timely, effective communication initiatives.
- A strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to translate business goals into compelling narratives and integrated communication campaigns that drive measurable brand and reputation impact
- Bilingual in English and Korean, with native-level proficiency in both languages and the ability to communicate seamlessly across cultures in a global business environment.
- Strong data-driven mindset, with hands-on experience using analytics and insights to solve complex communication challenges and inform strategic decisions.
- Deep understanding of the global gaming industry, including its audiences, trends, and evolving media landscape.
- Prior experience working at the headquarters of a global company, collaborating with international teams and aligning communications across multiple markets.
