This Lead Angular Ionic Developer role involves leading a team in designing, developing, and maintaining complex web applications using Angular and related technologies. The responsibilities include gathering requirements with product managers, designers, and stakeholders, and delivering high-quality solutions. The developer will also provide technical leadership and mentorship, ensuring adherence to coding standards and project timelines. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting, and code reviews are also part of the job, along with staying updated on the latest front-end trends. The role also includes contributing to the architecture and design of applications and managing technical debt to ensure long-term stability. The developer will facilitate agile development processes and optimize applications for speed, scalability, and usability. The job posting also contains Information Security responsibilities such as, promoting and enforcing awareness of key information security practices, identifying, assessing, and reporting security risks, understanding and evaluating data security, and ensuring data protection measures are integrated.
Must have:
- Expertise in Angular for building web applications
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Experience with RESTful APIs and AJAX
- Experience with Version Control systems like Git
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum
Good to have:
- Ionic Framework experience for hybrid mobile apps

Information Security Responsibilities
- Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
- Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
- Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of developers in the design, development, and maintenance of complex web applications using Angular and related technologies.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and project timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of front-end components with back-end services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, bugs, and other technical challenges in production and development environments.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure the delivery of maintainable, scalable, and efficient code.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in front-end development, particularly Angular and web technologies.
- Contribute to the architecture and design decisions of the web applications.
- Manage technical debt and ensure long-term stability and performance of the application.
- Ensure that applications are optimized for maximum speed, scalability, and usability.
- Facilitate agile development processes, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of experience in web development, with a strong focus on front-end technologies.
- Expertise in Angular (versions 2 and above), including experience with building complex, modular, and responsive web applications.
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, and experience with modern front-end build tools (Webpack, Babel, etc.).
- Experience with RESTful APIs, AJAX, and integrating third-party libraries and services.
- Ionic Framework experience is a strong advantage (for building hybrid mobile applications).
- Experience with Version Control systems (e.g., Git and BitBucket).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to lead by example, guide the team in complex technical decisions, and maintain a positive and productive team culture.
- Experience in unit testing, UI testing, and working with testing frameworks (e.g., Jasmine, Karma, Cypress) is a plus.
- A strong understanding of web application performance optimization techniques and best practices.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices.
- Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, or other back-end technologies is a plus.
- Previous experience in a Tech Lead or Senior Developer role with a track record of delivering high-quality software.
