Role Profile

Helix is an application based on Angular, Java, C# and MSSQL technologies consisting of various modules. The application supports data capture and analytical capabilities. Helix has various modules like Climate, Green Revenue, ESG, PIN etc!

Role Description:

We are looking for application developer with a strong programming experience who will play an integral role in the ongoing application & data analysis, integration, improvements, and maintenance of the platform which will span a broad range of UI, automation, data, and backend functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

· Maintain / Enhance existing application with Java and SQL skillset. Understand the Application workflow and financial concepts.

· Debug and troubleshoot the application to do some bug fixes / handle production issues. Able to debug the stored procedures, triggers and identify data issues.

· Collaborate with business analysts, testers, and other developers to rapidly build, test, and deploy code

· Participate in and contribute towards code reviews, bug/issue triage, and documentation

· Responsible for solving problems and application support issues

· Responsible for ensuring non-functional requirements (such as performance, auditing, security, support) are considered during development.

· Participate in agile ceremonies: Sprint planning, Scrum, Sprint demo, retrospectives etc.

· Support the migration of this application into Azure.

Work Experience:

· 8-12 years of experience in Software development

· Knowledge and practical application of Design Patterns and Practices

· Solid experience with Java and SQL Server

· Experience with Debug & Troubleshooting with good analytical, communication skills.

· Experience with performance improvement and optimization

Primary Technical Skills:

· Core Java with java 8

· Spring and Spring Boot

· Microservices - Rest API

· MS SQL Server

Optional Technical Skills:

· Angular

· Code maintenance with branching strategies like GIT

· Understanding of Java deployments

Education:

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or IT related field or equivalent IT related experience

Non-Technical Skills:

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Good communication and “can-do” demeanor

· Attention to details

· Good interpersonal skills with a key ability to work with an Agile team and display collaboration
