This is a leadership position, and will involve hiring and managing a team of designers, as well as working across all disciplines to ensure that our creative decisions remain faithfully grounded in the world of The Witcher, while delivering engaging, fun and immensely replayable multiplayer gameplay experiences. It will also involve guiding the creation and deployment of our internal suite of mission and world activity authoring tools. We’re entering an exciting new chapter in our development, and would love for you to help shape the way we grow!

  • Work closely with the Narrative team to craft fun and challenging story scenarios that are at home in the world of the Witcher.

  • Work with engineering to design and build a suite of mission design and world activity authoring tools, and oversee the use of those tools to create great multiplayer gameplay experiences.

  • Work with production to establish a mission design pipeline that spans initial prototype implementation, leadership review, playtesting, iteration and polish, and then see to it that the mission team can move content through that pipeline in a smooth and efficient way.

  • Collaborate across disciplines to bring the world of the game to life for the player, in an engaging and replayable way.

  • A strong background in scripting (visual or otherwise) and experience with game editors and game design tools.

  • The ability to communicate fluently with engineering, art, narrative and production.

  • Candidates must have a US or Canadian work permit or citizenship.

  • Curiosity, kindness, and a genuine love of lifting up your team, mentoring, and creating a positive creative work environment for those around you.

NICE TO HAVES:

  • Multiplayer game design experience.

  • Experience with Unreal 4 or Unreal 5.

  • Proven success as the manager of a team.
