As a Logistic & Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the flow of receiving, handling, and shipping. You will act as the point of contact for customers and service providers, prepare necessary documents, and maintain a database with logistics information. You may also identify opportunities for inventory reductions and optimize service levels and cost reduction. This role requires excellent planning, time management, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage priorities, experience coordinating cross-functional teams, and effective communication skills.

Summary of the role

To consolidate our structure, we are looking for a Logistic & Warehouse Manager.

The manager is responsible for coordinating the flow of receiving, handling and shipping.

Acts as the point of contact for customers and service providers, such as ocean carriers, air freight forwarders, global consolidators, customs brokers, or trucking companies. Prepare documents, such as bills of landing, shipment and letters of credit, invoices, quotes, and process vendor payments. Maintain database with logistics information (e.g. flow of inventory, track of products, metrics, on-time delivery rates, fulfillment rates). May identify opportunities for inventory reductions, optimize service level and cost reduction

The ideal profile possesses:

  • Master's degree in Management Engineering;

  • At least 3 years of experience in the role

  • Fluency in English is a must;

  • Excellent planning and time management skills;

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage priorities;

  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams (engineering, purchasing, sales, operations, etc.);

  • Effective communication and negotiation skills, strong goal orientation, and the ability to work well in teams.

Location: Rubiera (RE).
