Job Description

The Observability Engineer will work with advanced observability tools, maintaining and developing robust observability infrastructure and pipelines to support development teams. Responsibilities include software management and orchestration using tools like ELK, VictoriaMetrics, PagerDuty, Opentelemetry, and Grafana, as well as troubleshooting systems and solving problems across applications. The role involves a significant understanding of observability concepts and the ability to work with high availability, high-performance, and multi-data center systems. The engineer will also be expected to handle scripting and automation, version control with Git, and have experience with Terraform, Ansible, ELK, VictoriaMetrics/Prometheus, PagerDuty, and Opentelemetry.

Must have:

Linux administration skills
Understanding of tracing, logging, and monitoring
Scripting and automation skills
Troubleshooting complex system issues
Experience with version control systems like Git
Experience with Terraform and Ansible
Experience with ELK, VictoriaMetrics/Prometheus, PagerDuty, and Opentelemetry
English communication skills (writing and reading)

Good to have:

Coding skills in Python or Go
Development of large software systems
Experience with Docker
Experience with k8s
Experience with CI/CD tools
Cloud experience (AWS, Azure)

We are looking for a highly skilled Observability Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work with advanced observability tools, maintaining and developing robust observability infrastructure and pipelines to support our development teams.

Your tasks will include:

Working with observability tools, maintaining and developing observability infrastructure and pipelines for development teams
Software management and orchestration (ELK, VictoriaMetrics, PagerDuty, Opentelemetry, Grafana etc)
System troubleshooting and problem-solving across applications

What we expect from you:

Linux administration skills
Understanding observability (tracing, logging, monitoring)
Scripting and automation skills
Solid understanding and experience working with high availability, high performance, multi-data center systems
Strong ability to troubleshoot complex issues ranging from system resources
Experience with version control systems such as Git
Experience with Terraform, Ansible
Experience with ELK, VictoriaMetrics/Prometheus, PagerDuty, Opentelemetry
English communication skills (writing and reading)
