Job Summary
Job Description
As a Solutions/Scale Test Lead at Normalyze (now part of Proofpoint), you will build, test, and qualify code for next-generation cloud and data security solutions. Responsibilities include developing test frameworks, solutions test architecture, and test plans; automating all solutions and test plans within the CI/CD pipeline; debugging, troubleshooting, and identifying issues. You'll work with cutting-edge DSPM technology to protect critical data across various environments, contributing to a human-centric security platform. The role requires strong programming skills (Python or Node.js), AWS/GCP/Azure experience, familiarity with performance tools (like JMeter), and a good understanding of data security and privacy.
Must have:
- 5+ years performance testing experience
- Strong Python or Node.js programming
- AWS/GCP/Azure knowledge
- CI/CD experience
- JMeter proficiency
- Detailed solution/test plan writing
- Data security & privacy knowledge
Good to have:

We are looking to hire a key engineer that will be an integral part of our team, contributing to our solutions, performance, and scaling efforts.
With this acquisition, Proofpoint will further enhance its human-centric security platform with Normalyze’s leading DSPM technology, allowing organizations to discover, classify and protect critical data at scale across SaaS, PaaS, public or multi-cloud, on-prem and hybrid environments, while prioritizing the reduction of human-centric risks in data security.
As the Solutions/Scale Test lead at Normalyze, you will have an opportunity to build, test and qualify code for the next generation of cloud and data security solutions. You’ll develop test frameworks, solutions test architecture and test plans.
You will be responsible for the automation of all solutions and test plans and run these through the CI/CD pipeline.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in performance test or solutions performance engineering.
- Strong programming experience in either python or nodejs.
- 2+ years of Working knowledge of AWS or GCP or Azure.
- Ability to debug, troubleshoot and identify issues early on.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD.
- Working knowledge of performance tools like jmeter.
- Ability to write detailed solutions, architecture and test plans.
- Good knowledge of data security and privacy.
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/EECS or similar. Master in CS preferred.
