Job Description

As a Sales Manager at Glean, you will lead and manage a team of sales representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets. You'll drive sales strategy, manage the sales process, ensure team success, and conduct performance reviews. Collaboration with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, customer success) is crucial. You will analyze sales data, understand Glean's products, and communicate their value to potential customers. This role requires leading, coaching, and mentoring a team to achieve sales goals, developing and implementing effective sales strategies, and managing the sales process from prospecting to closing deals.

Role Overview: As a Sales Manager at Glean, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of sales representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets. You will play a critical role in driving the sales strategy, managing the sales process, and ensuring the success of your team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales goals.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Manage the sales process from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities for team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Glean’s products and services, and effectively communicate their value to potential customers.

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of sales experience, with a proven track record of success in a sales management role.
  • Experience selling at a startup or a similar fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • A growth mindset and a passion for continuous improvement and learning.
