Job Description
The Search Technical Solutions Consultant role at Google involves providing outstanding customer service to advertisers, Sales teams, agencies, and partners. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with Google Ads products, applying product expertise to solve customer problems and escalations, and managing projects. This role also requires developing diagnostic tools and automation, providing partner feedback to improve product features, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field and have experience in system design, code reading (Java, C++, Python), technical project management, and working with data and web technologies.
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- 3 years system design or code reading experience
- 3 years technical project management or consulting experience
- Experience with Data/SQL and web technologies
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
Good to have:
- Experience in technical product/cloud support
- Experience with Google Ads or other online advertising solutions
- Experience in technical troubleshooting and customer support
- Experience in business analysis and developing dashboards
- Problem-solving skills and strategic thinking

Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in either system design or reading code (e.g., Java, C++, Python, etc.).
- 3 years of experience in technical project management, stakeholder management, professional services, solution engineering, or technical consulting.
- Experience with Data/SQL and web technologies.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working in technical product/cloud support/quality engineering/site reliability engineering.
- Experience using Google Ads or other online advertising solutions and the media/technology landscape.
- Experience in technical troubleshooting or customer support in a technical organization with customer-facing experience translating technical concepts and solutions to non-technical and executive audiences.
- Experience in business analysis to conduct analytics, develop dashboards, and make recommendations.
- Experience problem-solving to develop strategic perspectives on customer-focused solutions.

Responsibilities
- Prioritize and deliver outstanding customer service throughout the customer journey, troubleshooting and resolving issues with Google's advertisers and Sales teams, agencies and partners.
- Learn our AI powered Google Ads products.
- Troubleshoot technical product issues. Apply product expertise solving technical customer issues and escalations and carrying out projects.
- Develop tools and automation for diagnostics/ data fixes and debugging, either separately or in partnership with Product Engineering teams.
- Improve product feature offerings by providing partner feedback to internal cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering and Business Solutions teams.
