About the role

Join us as a Senior Engineering Manager in India and help shape the future of Enterprise Studio’s frontend engineering capabilities.

The Enterprise Studio UI Team is a frontend product engineering team focused on delivering cohesive, intuitive, and performant user interfaces across the Enterprise Studio experience. This team will play a critical role in accelerating product delivery, strengthening system ownership, and driving seamless collaboration across key Enterprise initiatives. This team works closely with the UI Platform and multiple platform product teams to ensure seamless integration, consistency, and impact.

What you will do

End-to-End UI for Enterprise Studio

  • Build and maintain the Enterprise Studio UI, integrating multiple platform capabilities into a unified product experience.

Horizontal Alignment Across Platform Product Teams

  • Act as the “frontend connective tissue” across platform domains such as Permissions, Custom Objects, and Approvals.
  • Champion consistent and scalable UI patterns in collaboration with other product teams.
  • Reduce redundancy by promoting shared best practices and reusable frontend code.

Adaptation and Extension of UI Platform Components

  • Leverage and extend shared UI Platform components to support complex enterprise workflows.
  • Provide continuous feedback to the UI Platform team to evolve shared libraries and design systems.

Rapid Prototyping and Iterative Delivery

  • Partner with product managers and designers to quickly prototype and validate user journeys.
  • Accelerate time-to-market with a tight build-measure-learn loop.

System Ownership and Quality

  • Own the frontend codebase and architecture for Enterprise Studio.
  • Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, localization, and performance are first-class concerns.
  • Maintain high-quality engineering practices, including robust testing, monitoring, and error tracking.

Fungibility and Collaboration

  • Operate as a flexible, high-context team that can collaborate fluidly with different platform teams as needed.
  • Set a strong bar for frontend user experience and engineering quality across Enterprise Studio.

What you will need

  • At least 14+ years of experience in software development and delivery, with in-depth knowledge of frontend software architectures; must have at least 4+ years of experience as an EM or SEM in leading development teams
  • Technical Depth: Strong frontend engineering background, ideally full-stack capable, with proven experience in scalable product UI development
  • Mode of Operation: Open to running project focussed rather than charter focussed teams. Success for the manager is making product teams successful
  • Strong track record of hiring and growing high-performing engineering teams
  • Ability to operate effectively in complex, cross-functional environments
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and aligning diverse stakeholders
  • Passion for building great user experiences at scale
