Funko is seeking a Sr. Integrations Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust integration solutions across enterprise platforms like OMS, ERP, and eCommerce systems. The role involves leading integration projects from requirements gathering to testing, building scalable frameworks using Python and AWS Lambda, and managing ETL pipelines. You will monitor performance, collaborate with stakeholders, contribute to CI/CD processes, troubleshoot issues, document flows, and mentor junior developers. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems in a fast-paced environment and ensuring reliable data flows for critical business functions.
Must have:
  • 7+ years designing/developing integrations

The Sr. Integrations Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust integration solutions across various enterprise platforms including Order Management Systems (OMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), eCommerce systems, and third-party APIs. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys solving complex technical problems through clean, scalable integrations. You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to ensure reliable data flows that power critical business functions. 
 
What You’ll Do 
  • Design and implement APIs, event-driven architectures, and integration workflows between internal systems and external platforms. 
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of integration projects, including requirements gathering, system mapping, development, and testing. 
  • Build and maintain scalable, reusable integration frameworks using Python, AWS Lambda, and other modern technologies. 
  • Manage and optimize ETL pipelines and message brokers (e.g., SQS, SNS, Kafka) for real-time and batch data transfer. 
  • Monitor integration performance and implement observability practices including logging, metrics, and alerting (e.g., Datadog, CloudWatch). 
  • Partner with ERP, OMS, and eCommerce stakeholders to ensure alignment between system contracts and data flows. 
  • Contribute to CI/CD processes to deploy and manage integration services with high reliability. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues, including working across teams and vendors as needed. 
  • Document integration flows, technical decisions, and API contracts for both internal and external audiences. 
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to integration best practices across the engineering organization. 
What You’ll Bring 
  • 7+ years of experience designing and developing system integrations in production environments across complex enterprise ecosystems. 
  • Proven track record leading geographically dispersed, cross-functional integration teams, including offshore and international contributors, to deliver high-impact integration initiatives. 
  • Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end solution architecture, including scoping, design, implementation, and operational support for enterprise-grade integration projects. 
  • Deep proficiency in Python or similar programming languages, with hands-on experience in AWS cloud services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, Step Functions, etc.). 
  • Strong command of RESTful APIs, webhooks, and asynchronous messaging patterns, including queue-based architectures. 
  • Extensive experience integrating enterprise business systems such as Salesforce (OMS, Commerce Cloud), NetSuite, SAP, or equivalent ERP/CRM platforms. 
  • Solid understanding of version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into business-aligned outcomes for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). 
Salary Information 
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $121,500- $151,500 annually.​Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Work Environment 
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. 
This position is remote based in North Carolina or Florida. We will only consider candidates that are in those payroll states at the moment.
