As a Senior SDET Engineer - Mobile at Entrata, you will be instrumental in assuring the quality of mobile applications by developing and maintaining robust automated testing frameworks. You'll work closely with developers and product managers throughout the software development lifecycle. Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining automated test frameworks for iOS and Android applications, writing and executing automated tests with tools like Appium, and collaborating with developers to ensure application testability. Analyzing test results, identifying defects, and contributing to the continuous improvement of testing processes are also essential. Additionally, you'll provide guidance to junior SDETs and stay updated on the latest mobile testing technologies.
Must have:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks
- Write and execute automated tests using industry-standard tools
- Strong programming skills in Java, Kotlin, or Swift
- 5+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on mobile automation
Good to have:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with performance and security testing of mobile applications
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

Entrata is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior SDET (Mobile) to join our Test Engineering team in Lehi, Utah. As a Senior SDET, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our mobile applications by developing and maintaining robust automated testing frameworks. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle. This role requires a strong understanding of mobile test automation best practices, a passion for quality, and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities will include
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for iOS and Android mobile applications.
- Write and execute automated tests using industry-standard tools and technologies (e.g., Appium, Espresso, XCUITest).
- Collaborate with developers to ensure testability of mobile applications and identify potential issues early in the development cycle.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes of defects, and report issues clearly and concisely.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior SDETs
- Stay up-to-date on the latest mobile testing technologies and trends.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall improvement of code quality.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on mobile automation.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Kotlin, or Swift.
- Experience with building mobile test automation frameworks using tools such as Appium, Espresso, or XCUITests.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
- Experience with performance and security testing of mobile applications.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience working with cloud-based mobile testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
