Senior Test Lead (Game Team)

About the role 

As a Senior Test Lead, you will be responsible for the overall test effort across an entire product or internal development team(s).  Partnering with your development and support partners, you will track and manage all test deliverables for your team while managing day-to-day priority shifts, tracking your team’s overall effectiveness, and reporting upon results.  You’ll drive various topics such as team process improvement, forecasting, and team morale while acting as a mentor to your direct team and other test leaders. You’ll partner and potentially even drive test automation and tooling solutions that benefit both your team and your overall project.  

What you’ll achieve 

• Lead, recruit, and mentor a large and/or complex QA team focused on our title(s) or support teams, while ensuring high-quality results, workflows, and strong internal relationships.
• Collaborate with Production & Development leadership on priorities, upcoming objectives, and risk mitigation strategies
• Coordinate planning and test requirements across cross-functional teams and vendor leadership to drive productivity and alignment.
• Contribute to and lead automation development efforts, adopting solutions directly into QA processes.
• Identify and drive continuous improvements in QA quality, efficiency, and overall team dynamics
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and user-experience trends throughout the project lifecycle.
• Partner with Production and Project Leads to triage and prioritize bug backlogs effectively.
• Help shape and contribute to the long-term QA vision, while showcasing team achievements across the broader QA organization.

What you’ll need to be successful

• Proven experience in project management for large QA groups or technically complex areas, with at least 2 years of demonstrated experience in a QA leadership or similar PM role.
• Strong understanding of test methodologies, device platforms (mobile, PC), and QA automation/tooling integrationSelf-driven mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and delivering high-quality results
• Natural leadership skills, with the ability to provide direction, clarity, and constructive feedback
• Passion for video games and a deep appreciation for the player experience
  
• Experience working in deeply embedded development teams, fostering strong Dev-QA collaboration
• Comfortable navigating fast-paced, early-stage game environments where processes and priorities are still being defined
• Familiarity with a shift-left approach, including early involvement in tooling, in-editor testing, and quality-focused design
