Role Overview : As a Sr. UX Designer, you will own creative direction and design on our first product, the upliance- solving the one primary question, how to stop people from eating boring food?

This is a role focusing on the UI/UX:

Discoverability and recommendation of recipes

Ease, intuitiveness, and delight of the cooking experience

Recipe and meal planning

Health-focused features

“Connected” experiences

… to name a few.

You will be involved in setting the creative direction for the UX in and outside of the product, including mobile app and product communications. You will also be responsible for creating the detailed design of features and ensuring great visual design and intuitive user experiences. You will also be part of the overall feature lifecycle including execution, ensuring the designs are turned into reality with good quality, talking to customers on a regular basis and monitoring the features are being used effectively on the field and iterating based on feedback.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the User Interface on our appliance interfaces and the mobile app

Conceptualise, drive and implement intuitive, uniform design language across all the interfaces built

Create wireframes, beautiful looking interfaces, customer journey, user flows, process flows and sitemaps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas

Conduct user research, usability tests and evaluate and implement user feedback

Drive adoption of trends in user experience and use of technology/tools for the same

Own the design and features and drive it to implementation and completion

What we are looking for:

Bachelor's degree with proven skill for Website, Web App UI or Mobile app UI

Experience working in a B2C or gaming company

4+ years of experience in UI/UX Design or similar roles

Basic understanding of the Software Development Process

Fundamental understanding of experience/interaction design

Strong portfolio of customer facing projects (preferably for tech-oriented companies)

Proficiency in design, prototyping and wire-framing tools - Figma preferred

Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction and feasibility (has an eye for clean designs)
