Job Description

The Site Reliability Engineer will be responsible for improving production infrastructure, building the next-level build process, automation methodologies, and tools. They will work closely with the R&D team to take CI/CD to the next level, develop and debug on top of the Kubernetes infrastructure, and improve cloud-native Terraform modules. The role involves researching new technologies, providing technical direction, managing infrastructure as code, and designing monitoring solutions using Datadog. The Engineer will also own SRE responsibilities for AWS and GCP environments to ensure the availability, scalability, and reliability of production services. The candidate will be working in an Agile environment, proposing improvements to the testing process to decrease defects, and communicating with various teams across the organization.
Must have:
  • 5-7 years of DevOps experience
  • Hands-on experience in Kubernetes and Docker
  • Experience in Python/Bash/Groovy
  • Experience with Jenkins/GitLab CI/GitHub Actions
  • Experience with AWS and GCP cloud platforms
Good to have:
  • Experience in REST API automation and testing methodologies

Who we seek:

If you love working on production infrastructure, you're welcome to join us! We are looking for an Engineer to join our DevOps team in Argentina. DevOps is responsible for the R&D platforms, which are based on containers and microservices. Your main focus will be improving the production infrastructure and building the next-level build process, automation methodologies, and tools while working closely with the R&D team. Candidates must be self-motivated individuals who love supporting a passionate and collaborative team, solving problems, coming up with creative solutions, and continually improving company processes and culture.

What you’ll do:

  • Take our CI/CD to the next level
  • Develop and debug on top of the Kubernetes infrastructure
  • Improve our cloud-native Terraform modules
  • Research new technologies and provide overall technical direction for the team
  • Plan and push to close the automation backlog
  • Communicate with teams across the organization on testing strategy and design
  • Propose improvements to the testing process to decrease defects found in production
  • Work closely with R&D teams in an Agile environment
  • Own SRE responsibilities for our AWS and GCP environments, including ensuring the availability, scalability, and reliability of production services
  • Manage and evolve infrastructure as code using env0 for Terraform workflows
  • Design and implement monitoring, metrics, and dashboards using Datadog to ensure observability and proactive incident management

What you’ll bring:

  • 5-7 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
  • Must have hands-on experience in Kubernetes and Docker
  • Experience in Python/Bash/Groovy
  • Solid grasp of software development life cycle, best practices, and methods across multiple teams: Agile development, DevOps, CI/CD, Kubernetes, team leadership, and mainly test automation
  • Experience with at least one of Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Git, AWS, Dockers, relational and non-relational DBs
  • Experience working with AWS and GCP cloud platforms in a production environment
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform (preferably managed via env0 or similar tooling)
  • Experience with Datadog for building monitoring solutions, metrics, and dashboards
  • Excellent communication skills are required for documenting and connecting with other groups
  • Ability to explore and initiate new ideas, think, and learn independently
