Role:

As our in-house digital analytics expert, you will lead the reporting and insight generation across a range of social media and digital platforms. Our team manages over 100 social media channels and more than 30 websites.
 
One of the key objectives of this role is to help drive our reporting beyond traditional social media engagement metrics, wherever that is possible. You are someone who understands the link between social media metrics and business results. You feel confident communicating insights and educating stakeholders who don't understand the world of social media.
 
The social media team is part of Impact, ION's in-house communications and marketing agency. Impact is a multidisciplinary team of content, design, digital marketing, events, media, video, and web specialists.  Our social media team has responsibility and oversight of all social media platforms and tools across the group. Our job is to present ION at its best, through effective social media communications.

Key Responsibilities

    • Produce ongoing and ad-hoc reports for our campaigns, marketing initiatives, and digital channels
    • Act as the main point of contact for reporting and analytics
    • Advise on the metrics that should be tracked and implement those tracking parameters
    • Assist with and advise on best practices for A/B experiments and create reporting dashboards to showcase the ongoing A/B testing and conversion rate optimization efforts
    • Build Power BI dashboards and connect to various data sources
    • Create and monitor Brandwatch queries, with the ability to filter and troubleshoot
    • Build Brandwatch dashboards for non-marketing users
    • Work with the digital marketing team to support reporting for our email campaigns, SEO, and other digital marketing initiatives
    • Build resources to support and advocate for our measurement approach
    • Provide training to stakeholders and team members

Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications

    • Required
    • Experience building Boolean queries and dashboards for social listening (Brandwatch)
    • Experience with data visualisation platforms (Power BI, Tableau etc.)
    • Advanced certified knowledge of digital reporting platforms (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio)
    • Advanced knowledge of social media metrics
    • Experience of building social media measurement frameworks beyond engagement metrics (Reactions, comments, shares etc.)
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Primarily Excel and Powerpoint) with the ability to create data driven analysis
    • Understand how to map and measure conversions
    • Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization

    • Advanced knowledge of LinkedIn
    • Familiarity with social media APIs
    • Experience with paid targeting
