Job Description

The LDQA Specialist at OKX will drive performance excellence and ensure regulatory compliance within Compliance Operations. This position involves both Learning & Development (LD) and Quality Assurance (QA) responsibilities. The role includes designing and facilitating training programs, monitoring compliance case reviews, and ensuring consistent application of procedures and regulatory requirements. The specialist will work closely with various teams, including CDD Ops, AML Ops, and Compliance Advisory, to uphold quality standards and support continuous improvement across all Compliance Ops teams.
Must have:
  • 2-5 years of experience in a compliance-related role
  • Experience in training or coaching in a compliance setting
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards

  • Ability to develop training content based on regulations

About the Team

This team is part of Compliance Operations within the Audit, Risk & Compliance (ARC) Center. The LDQA team focuses on continuous training, skill enhancement, and quality assurance to ensure the smooth execution of Compliance programs. We collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including CDD Ops, AML Ops, and Sanctions Ops, as well as other partners such as Compliance Advisory, the Product team, and the Data team.

About the Opportunity

The LDQA Specialist plays a dual-role in driving performance excellence and ensuring regulatory compliance within Compliance Operations. This position combines responsibilities from both Learning & Development (LD) and Quality Assurance (QA) functions to deliver comprehensive training, uphold quality standards, and support continuous improvement across all Compliance Ops teams.
The ideal candidate will design and facilitate impactful training programs while also monitoring and evaluating compliance case reviews. By aligning learning initiatives with performance metrics, the LDQA Specialist will ensure consistent application of operational procedures, regulatory requirements, and compliance controls.

Requirements: What We Look For In You

  •  

    • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a compliance-related role (experience in the FinTech / Crypto / Financial Institutions industry will be an added advantage).
    • Previous experience in training, coaching, or educating individuals in a compliance setting is highly desirable.
    • CAMS or ICA certification is a plus.
    • Able to work on-site.
    • Strong public speaking and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex regulatory concepts for diverse audiences.
    • Ability to provide clear, concise, and engaging training materials and documentation.
    • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards (e.g., AML, CDD, Sanctions, etc.).
    • Strong analytical abilities to assess training needs and measure training effectiveness.
    • Ability to develop training content based on regulatory changes and emerging compliance trends.
    • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
    • Patient and approachable, with a focus on employee development and continuous improvement.
    • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
 

Key Responsibilities: What You’ll be Doing

  •  

    • Develop and deliver comprehensive compliance training programs to ensure all Compliance Ops agents are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their BAU duties and meet regulatory standards (e.g., AML, CDD, Sanctions).
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of training sessions by gathering feedback, monitoring performance, and assessing compliance-related outcomes. 
    • Perform regular training needs assessments across Compliance Ops teams to identify areas for improvement and create tailored training solutions to address skill gaps or emerging compliance risks.
    • Conduct refresher training as necessary to reinforce key compliance principles.
    • Conduct Quality Assurance (QA) review as needed to assess agent performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide necessary feedback and coaching.
    • Work closely with the QA team, Compliance Ops functions, and other relevant teams to align training initiatives with compliance objectives, ensuring consistency and relevance in all training materials.
    • Create, update, and maintain training materials, including presentations, manuals, e-learning modules, and other resources, to ensure they reflect the latest compliance requirements and best practices.
    • Conduct coaching sessions for Compliance Ops agents as necessary, helping them improve performance and better understand compliance expectations. 
    • Stay informed on changes in industry regulations and compliance trends, ensuring that all training materials and programs are updated in line with current standards and guidelines.
    • Contribute to the development and rollout of new training programs, initiatives, and projects aimed at improving compliance knowledge, performance, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
